Registration workplace (Amphur)

Documents needed

• Foreigner: Passport ( simply simply simply take two copies and of your visa, and current arrival stamp), affirmation to marry (original & the certified translation, with copies of both), passport official official certification from embassy if needed ( simply simply take copies of initial and interpretation) .
• Thai: Thai ID tabien and card Baan (home enrollment). Just Take two copies of every.

Papers all prepared and now you’re willing to register your wedding. You want two witness during the one and registration should be in a position to convert from Thai to English.

I happened to be told in past times (a friend that married) the Bangrak office managed to offer witnesses, but i’m perhaps not certain that this really is feasible now.

According to the region they could desire one or more witness to be family users person in the Thai resident, thus I had been told. A foreigner present just isn’t a buddy discovered when he decided to go to register their wedding and called a nearby motorbike taxi motorist proven to them to part of along with his buddy to come out.

I didn’t need certainly to offer witnesses while the agency did all of this. Take into account that agencies have actually associates and relations with staff at Amphurs….Thailand is more or less about who you realize and maybe not that which you understand to get things done, straight forward.

In the region you shall need certainly to finish forms, in Thai language. Every thing should be accurate. We failed to finish some of this since the agency individual (in which he had been among the witnesses) that came across us at the Amphur finished this and asked if all given information had been proper beside me.
